How to get a rust stain out of a pine chest?

Help! I have a very old heirloom pine blanket chest and as a result of leaving an aerosol can (lysol) on top of it for a few days in damp weather, it has a circular rust stain. Help! Is there any way to remove short of stripping and refinishing?

1. There is a tiny tube of jel obtainable at some chemists ( pharmists ) (drug stores ) for just this purpose, Ask the assistant.
2. Try some WD-40 spray...
3. Natural degreasers & sanitisers:- (Try a little lemon juice first) * Rub Orange Oil or Eucalyptus Oil onto the stained area let stand for 15 minutes, then wipe clean. The acid will break up the rust and the oil will help lift it off the surface. Good Luck!!
