How can i get drawers to run smoothly on a pine chest of drawers?

- Pencil lead, anything graphite (sadly always black though) silicone polish, or just rub a bar of soap along all the edges.
- Try good old fashioned 'lard'. That is what my mum used to use. :)
- use beeswax as soap cloggs up silicone dries wax does neither
- My Mother always uses Candle wax with good results.
- rub a candle down the runners and that should do the trick. the wax lubricates the runners and will last for years
- bees wax is the best thing to use rub onto both parts of the runners,then they should run ok.
- if it has steel runners wd 40 them if it runs on the wood it self you can buy plastic corner pieces that you put in the corners of the drawer opening
- Spray the drawer runners with furniture polish. Works great.
- Grease the runners with candle wax.
- Candle wax is the best
